Introducing Two New Flowcharts: Retirement Plans For Businesses and Social Security Disability

We are excited to make available two additional flowcharts to our Retirement Planning Essentials package.  This brings the total number of flowcharts up to 21.

Should I Set Up A Traditional 401(k) For My Business? This flowchart addresses some of the most common issues that arise for a client looking to set up a retirement plan for his or her business.  We are especially excited to make this flowchart available because it was (for a time) the most requested flowchart.  

Do I Qualify For Social Security Disability Benefits? This flowchart covers many of the rules and requirements that a client must satisfy in order to qualify for disability benefits under Social Security.

Revisit a Flowchart

Given the changes in the tax law, charitably inclined clients may be looking for alternative ways to make end-of-year donations to their preferred charities.  One strategy that is gaining traction is to do a Qualified Charitable Distribution from an IRA. To help guide the conversation and ensure that all the major issues are considered, we developed the “Can I Do a Qualified Charitable Distribution From My IRA?” flowchart.
